1983年安徽大學物理系畢業，理學學士；

1990年中國科技大學物理系碩士畢業，理學碩士。

1997年德國柏林自由大學訪問學者；

1999年香港科技大學訪問學者。

1990-2000 年，中國科學技術大學，國家同步輻射實驗室，助理研究員 - 副研究員；

1996 年後，負責時間分辨實驗線站工作。

1997 年曾在德國柏林自由大學做訪問學者；

1999 年曾在香港科技大學做訪問學者。

2001-2003 年，中國科學技術大學，量子信息重點實驗室，副研究員負責量子密碼研究室工作；

2022年2月，中科大郭光燦院士團隊的韓正甫教授及其合作者，實現了833公里光纖量子密鑰分發，將量子密鑰分發安全傳輸距離世界紀錄提升了200餘公里，向實現千公里陸基量子保密通信邁出重要一步。 ^[2] 

2023年9月，郭光燦院士團隊在量子密鑰分發研究中取得重要進展——實現全被動量子密鑰分發。該團隊韓正甫、王雙、銀振強、陳巍與合作者提出了一種無需主動調製的新型量子密鑰分發實現方案並完成了實驗驗證，為實現高現實安全的量子密鑰分發系統提供了新思路。該成果於近日發表在國際學術期刊《物理評論快報》(Physical Review Letters)上。 ^[3]
