美國特勤局特工雷克斯·貝內特（羅德·卡梅隆飾）受命挫敗納粹與阿拉伯人在非洲結盟的計劃。他的助手是冒充記者的聯合國女特工珍妮特·布萊克（瓊·馬什飾）和自由法國軍官皮埃爾·拉薩爾（鄧肯·倫納多飾）。當一個值得信賴的阿拉伯酋長（萊昂內爾·羅伊斯）真實身份是德國軍官沃姆·隆米爾男爵時，情況就複雜了 [2]  。
