陳林

1982 年畢業於合肥工業大學，

1985 年在中國科學院上海生理研究所獲碩士學位，

1995年在美國紐約州州立大學取得博士學位。

1995－1998 年先後在美國紐約州州立大學和加拿大卡爾頓大學從事博士後工作。

1999－2001 年先後在紐約州州立大學和美國 Cymfony 公司任研究助理教授和研究員。

2002 年回國建立中國科學技術大學聽覺研究實驗室。 ^[1] 

2011年入選為中國神經科學學會第五屆理事會理事。

2006年－2009年期間應邀擔任美國耳鼻喉研究學會國際委員會委員。

2007 年起應邀擔任聽覺科學的權威期刊 Hearing Research 編委。 ^[1]

長期從事聽覺科學研究，在 SCI 期刊上發表了30餘篇學術論文，其中作為通訊作者在 PNAS、British Journal of Pharmacology、Neuroscience、Hearing Research等期刊上發表的論文超過20篇。
