長城之下

從楚方城到秦長城，從秦長城到明長城，從崇山峻嶺到瀚海江流，從塞外天北到烽火都城，長城跨越了千年歲月、萬里山河。

長城，不僅僅只是我國曆史上重要的防禦工程，更是一種精神，它縱橫延綿，包容萬象，以靜制動，可攻可守。

這一點，其實和華夏千年來的民族精神很類似，中正平和，風骨傲然。

城牆之上，邊關戍衞，徵人遠轍；城牆之下，勵精圖治，禮樂仁德。

有了長城之上，才有長城之下。

這座城牆是守，也是迎，守地利，迎人和。

這座城牆是歷，也是觀，歷史冊，觀古今。 ^[3]

（白話釋義:竹子類的樂器。伶倫比着長短參差的竹子，發明了這種可以演奏雅頌之音的樂器。）

（注:伶倫據説是排簫的發明者，比竹、參差都是排簫的別名，排簫的雅稱又有雅簫、頌簫的稱呼，而且能表明這是雅樂樂器。）

Paixiao: Bamboo-made panpipes. Linglun used bamboo pipes of various lengths and created this instrument to play the tunes of Yasong ceremonial music. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:金屬類的樂器。合金鑄造的鐘，依其大小不同的順序被懸掛於架子上，可以敲擊出不同的聲音，演奏出祭祀土神與穀神的樂曲。)

Bianzhong: Metal-made tuned Bells. Alloy-made Bells of different sizes are hung on a stand to make sounds of different notes. It were used to play music to worship the God of Earth and The God of Grain. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:玉石類的樂器。昆岡上採到最美好的玉石，用他們做出的編磬，可以演奏出最為清和雅正的音樂。)

Bianqing: Jade-made Chimes. The best jade stones are collected to make this chime which can play the most clear and bright music. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:絲絃類的樂器。以桐木和絲絃製作的七絃的古琴，是君子們最摯愛的樂器，經常被用來演奏那些品德高尚的樂曲，以修身養性。)

Chin: Silk-made Plucking. Guchin is made of Candlenut wood and silk. It is most cherished by the gentlemen class and was used to play musics of noble character. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:絲絃類的樂器。這種樂器上面是弦和柱，下面是體積龐大的共鳴音箱。這樂器發出的音色中正典雅，用以培養君王整齊莊嚴的威儀與公正的德行。)

Se: Silk-made Plucking. It has strings and frets on the upper part and has a large resonance box downside. This instrument has an elegant timber and was used to cultivate the just and majestic virtues of the monarch. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:匏類的樂器。以十三根長短不同的竹簧管制作的這個樂器，可以吹奏出萬物開始萌生的正月音色，所以稱之為笙。)

Sheng: Gourd-made woodwind. Sheng is made of 13 reeds of different lengths. It can make the sound of the first month of the year when all creatures start to grow, which gives it its name Sheng(growing). ^[1] 

(白話釋義:革類的樂器。這種以皮革蒙覆住兩端，中間是空的圓筒形樂器叫鼓。敲擊它的時候，可以發出雷鳴般的鏜鏜震響。)

Gu: Leather-made Drum. Gu is a barrel-shaped instrument which is hollow inside and has leather covering its two ends. When hit, it makes sound like thunder. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:竹子類的樂器。這種橫吹的樂器，演奏時雙手手心向內，如同敬奉神明。可以用其吹奏出最美妙的清商雅樂。)

Chi: Bamboo-made flute. When playing this horizontally-played instrument, the player hold it with both palms inward, which looks like he or she is worshipping the God. It can be used to play the most beautiful Qingshang Yayue ceremonial music. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:燒土類的樂器。以陶土燒製的六孔壎，是很早以前就被華夏先民們所發明的樂器，經常被用來演奏象徵兄弟相睦的樂曲。)

Xun: Pottery-Made Wind. The six-hole pottery instrument was one of the earliest Chinese musical instrument. It is often used to play music symbolizing harmony among people. ^[1] 

(白話釋義:木質類樂器。這個樂器的形狀像是方形的鬥，通常都是用於雅樂樂曲的開始。)

Chu: Wood-made Percussion. The instrument has the shape of rectangle funnel, which was often played at the beginning of a Yayue ceremonial music. ^[1]
