鄭新民，上海交通大學醫學院生化與分子生物學教研室主任，教授，博士生導師。1990年獲法國巴斯德大學分子生物學專業的國家博士學位，1991-1993在新加坡國立大學分子和細胞學院做博士後研究，1994-1995任新加坡國立大學分子和細胞學院研究員，1996-2001任美國康乃爾大學分子生物學及遺傳學系高級研究員助理，2002-2005任美國康乃爾大學分子生物學及遺傳學系首席研究員。

鄭新民個人簡介
1991年以來主要從事蛋白質酪氨酸激酶（PTK）、磷酸酶（PTP）信號傳導通路與腫瘤激活分子機理的研究。多年來，在國際頂尖學術刊物《Nature》、《Cell》、《EMBO》上發表10餘篇重量級論文。申請者的研究工作在該領域中一直處於國際領先地位，並作出過一些突破性貢獻，特別是在國際上首次用細胞模型闡明瞭腫瘤蛋白c-Src被PTPα激活，導致細胞癌變的分子機制。
