謝鵬 [2]  教授1982年畢業於重慶醫科大學醫學系。1982年至1985年在重慶醫科大學第一附屬醫院神經內科攻讀研究生，獲碩士學位。畢業後留校任教。1995至1996年留學日本濱松醫科大學神經精神科和日本福島醫科大學微生物教研室，擔任客座研究員。歷任重慶醫科大學附屬第一醫院神經內科助教、住院醫師、講師、主治醫師、教授、附屬第一醫院副院長、重慶醫科大學校長助理，2004年9月起任重慶醫科大學副校長。
謝鵬 [2]  教授長期從事神經病學的教學、醫療和科研工作。致力於臨牀神經病學，腦血管疾病，中樞神經系統病毒感染性疾病，神經生化與分子生物學研究，有豐富的臨牀經驗，較高的學術造詣。曾獲四川省科技進步一等獎1項，國家科技進步三等獎1項，全國第五屆吳—楊獎（吳階平醫學研究獎）1項，重慶市科技進步二等獎1項。近5年先後發表專業學術論文2多篇，參編專著10餘部。作為負責人，主持“BDV人體感染模型初探及病毒性腦炎的生物學診斷”、“活體MRI追蹤腦內移植磁標記神經幹細胞的實驗研究”、“博爾納病病毒的分子流行病學研究”、“抑鬱症發病機制的功能磁共振和蛋白質組學研究”四項國家自然科學基金課題，以及衞生部科學基金、教育部博士點基金和人事部歸國人員基金各1項，以及重慶市科技攻關課題等共10多項科研課題。

謝鵬 [2]  ，男，1958年3月出生，重慶醫科大學副校長，重慶醫科大學神經科學研究中心主任，重慶醫科大學研究生院院長，教授、博士生導師，重慶醫科大學國家重點學科神經病學學術帶頭人，衞生部有突出貢獻中青年專家，歸國學者。國務院學位委員會第六屆學科評議組成員，教育部第二屆全國專業學位教育指導委員會委員，中華醫學會神經病學分會副主任委員，中國醫師協會神經內科醫師分會會長。先後負責已結題國家重大科學研究計劃“973“項目和國家”863“目標導向項目各1項、國家自然科學基金6項、省部級等各類基金14項，共獲準科研經費3380餘萬元。現已發表學術論文200餘篇，其中SCI論文65篇。擔任全國醫學院校五年制統編教材《神經病學》第四、五、六、七版編委，《臨牀神經化學》雜誌主編，《中國神經科雜誌》、《中國神經精神疾病雜誌》、《中華神經醫學雜誌》、《中國實用內科雜誌》、《中國腦血管疾病雜誌》、《國際腦血管病雜誌》、《國際神經病學神經外科學雜誌》等10家雜誌編委，擔任《Stroke,BrainResearch》雜誌的特約審稿人。 並擔任全國研究生統編教材《神經內科學》主編，並主編和參編學術專著10餘部。獲得發明專利4項。曾獲四川省科技進步一等獎1項，國家科技進步三等獎1項，重慶市科技進步二等獎2項，吳階平醫學研究獎（吳-楊獎）1項。
