配位超分子化學與材料,主要從事清潔能源與環境相關性金屬-有機新材料、納微限域空間特性化學與物理行為的研究: [4] 
1. 超分子組裝:金屬-有機容器與反應器(MOCs),金屬-有機框架(MOFs)和金屬-有機凝膠(MOGs)的可控合成與構效關係;
2. 超分子催化:微納限域配位空間的識別、響應與催化行為;
3. 超分子材料:吸附、分離、光電、動態金屬-有機分子材料。 [4]
