2004年戛納競賽片，2005年香港國際電影節參展片。1973年9月11日，美國幕後策動的軍人政變推翻智利民選總統阿蘭德（Salvador Allende），阿蘭德便是在這天自殺身亡，智利自此掉進皮諾切特（Augusto Pinochet）獨裁統治的十八年黑暗歲月。沒光影紀實的國，猶如沒相簿的家，古茲曼因此不倦地重組歷史真相，現在終對焦阿蘭德身上。阿蘭德二十八歲便當上國會議員，這個謙謙君子自信·.
