Philip Freneau（1752-1832） 美國獨立革命時期著名詩人，美國革命戰爭後期最傑出的作家。生於紐約一酒商家庭。1781年發表《英國囚船》一詩﹐揭露英軍虐待戰俘的暴行。
被認為是“Poet of American Revolution”美國革命詩人。
