英美報刊選讀

《英美報刊選讀》（第2版）繼承了*版兩個方面的特點：一是選材豐富多彩，具有時代性，信息量豐富；二是從英語新聞學的角度介紹了閲讀英語報刊的一些基本知識，而不是簡單談論閲讀理解的方法。《英美報刊選讀》（第2版）重新遴選了54篇新聞，按內容分成18個單元，每篇新聞的長度在700～900個詞之間。每篇新聞後面都附有兩大類內容。*類幫助學生理解文章，如生詞、重要的專有名詞、內容要點和句子翻譯，用中文寫出。第二類屬於“考”學生的，也就是“練習”，練習緊扣選文，從詞語和全文理解兩個方面設計練習，同時佈置一些自主學習的思考題，供學生自己上網搜索和閲讀。此外，還有報刊英語常識介紹。 ^[2]
