英國大學排名

英國大學排名（UK University Ranking），是指一些機構對英國大學評測後得出的排名榜單。參考因素多樣化，包含院校科研能力、畢業生薪資、課程滿意度、畢業率。

英國大學排名存在多個版本，包括官方每七年左右發佈一次的科研水平評估（REF）排名，以及《泰晤士報》《衞報》《完全大學指南》、軟科^[10] 、泰晤士高等教育（THE）、誇誇雷利·西蒙茲公司（QS）、美國新聞與世界報道（U.S. News）等媒體發佈的英國大學排名。

英國大學排名REF排名

英國政府曾每七年左右組織一次大學科研水平評估（Research Assessment Exercise，簡稱RAE）。^[2] RAE作為英國權威度非常高的大學排名，在很大程度上不僅説明了一個大學的綜合實力，甚至可以影響一個英國大學能獲得的研究經費。

2014年12月18日，英國官方發佈了研究卓越框架（Research Excellence Framework，簡稱REF）結果，其取代了原有的科研水平評估（RAE）。

英國研究卓越框架（REF）是英國政府資助機構用來評價本國高等院校科學研究項目質量的一個新的行動計劃，其評估重點是科學研究項目的產出、影響以及環境三個要素，其結果將決定未來六年英國各高等院校從英國政府資助機構所獲得的研究經費數量。

REF官方並沒有直接給出各大學的整體排名，對於各大學的排名，多家媒體作了不同的解讀；有主要有兩種排名方式，即Research Power排名和Research GPA排名。

Research Power排名指英國各大學的科研力量，在此排名中，world-leading級別的學科、論文以及教師越多，則科研力量一般也越大。而Research GPA排名以各大學的平均科研質量為排名，world-leading級別的學科、論文以及教師佔比越高，則排名越高。

英國大學排名泰晤士報排名

《泰晤士報》（The Times）是英國媒體中最早發佈英國大學排名的單位，自1992年起每年發佈英國泰晤士報與星期日泰晤士報優秀大學指南排名。該排名的主要指標包括學生滿意度（15%）、生師比（10%）、生均經費（10%）、設施和設備（10%）、優秀學位獲得率（10%）、畢業率（10%）等指標。自2014版起，《泰晤士報》和《星期日泰晤士報》合併發佈英國大學排名。

英國大學排名衞報排名

《衞報》（The Guardian）自2004年^[6] 起建立了獨特的大學排名評估方法，與其他一些排名榜有所區別。《衞報大學指南》的排名榜是按照全國學生普查（National Student Survey，NSS）對即將畢業的本科生所作的調查的結果計分的，主要按照學生對有關大學的教學等方面的評價打分，從某種程度上而言具有相對的客觀性。《衞報》排名榜的主要目的是協助打算上大學本科的學生挑選科目，因此該排名清楚的顯示了學生與教職員的素質以及大學研究與教學的水平。《衞報》的排名榜也詳細列出各大學不同科目的排名。

《完全大學指南》（Complete Universi ty Guide, CUG）英國大學排名由著名的英國報社《獨立報》（Independent）參與制訂，首次發表於2007年，該排名的所有數據來源於英國高等教育統計署，《完全大學指南》2010年的英國大學排名基於以下九個指標：學生滿意度、研究質量、入學標準、師生比例、學術服務開支、學校設施開支、優等學位比例、畢業率和就業率。此外，《完全大學指南》還對英國大學按照不同的專業進行排名。
