1998年畢業於中國科學技術大學材料科學與工程系，獲理學學士學位。

2003年畢業於中國科學技術大學生命科學學院結構生物學專業，獲理學博士學位。

2003年到2007年在美國科羅拉多健康科學中心全國猶太醫學研究中心做博士後研究。 ^[1]
