舊石器技術分析、第四紀釋光年代學。通過結合石器技術特點和光釋光年代學以及古環境變化來探索東亞地區早期人類及現代人演化、遷徙、交流、文化行為等特點，特別是中更新世及晚更新世中國西南地區的舊石器中晚期文化特徵面貌及區域古人類的進化遷徙活動。 ^[1]
