羅得島設計學院專業介紹

該專業對申請者手繪及設計能力要求很高，除此之外，學校對申請者的批判性思維以及專業技能要求很高。本科生課程偏重於基礎知識的沉澱積累，例如視覺語言技巧的訓練，設計方法的學習，為同學畢業從事相關工作打下了堅實基礎。

陶藝專業（Ceramics）

2年制，雖然陶藝專業在羅得島設計學院規模相對小，但卻絲毫不比其他專業遜色。也正因為學生人數較少，羅得島設計學院的陶藝專業基本上能滿足學生和老師一對一的高輔導要求。

羅得島設計學院冬季課程

羅得島設計學院另一個比較著名的是它的冬季6 周課程Winter Sessions (a 6-week periodbetween the Fall and Spring terms)。這個課程是以多元性著稱，而這個課程對申請到羅得島設計學院的學生是十分重要的，因為學生可以在此課程中學習到各項關於藝術方面的基礎課程，例如繪畫、工業設計、銅塑等其他課程，不同的系可以相互選擇課程選修。

冬季班也可提供到海外學習的機會，可以讓參與此課程的學生到歐洲巴黎、意大利 Matera 和愛丁堡等地學習觀摩。^[5]

Brown/ RISD Dual Degree Program

羅得島設計學院提供專業教育在藝術，視覺媒體，架構，設計和文科。布朗提供全面的物理、生物科學、社會科學、數學和科學的教育。課程的目的是為了培養高素質的人才和鍛鍊學生整合不同領域的學科的能力，在這個過程中他們獲得來自兩個學院的，更廣泛的知識和資源。學生必須申請兩個學院，並被同時被錄取，然後才可以被批准加入雙學位課程DDP。^[6]

2篇規定具體內容的Writing Example ，200-400字/篇

推薦信非必須，但是建議提供。最好3封。

作品：

A：繪畫 3頁

要求用石墨鉛筆及1000pxx 1250px紙張，有具體題目和內容限制。表達手法不限，但是要突出自己的技巧熟練度及作品的意義。

每幅作品需要用限定規格的紙條註明姓名及地址。

B：任何三維或者二維作品集(12-20份)(非必須，建議提供)。

可選擇CD、DVD、照片印刷等格式。不接受網絡提交。電子作品每份大小不得超過3MB，格式要求為JPG。另外需打印一份作品清單。

注：務必在每份提交的DVD、CD、紙張等作品上標註姓名及地址。
