故事講述了三個孩子跟隨父親從洛杉磯遷往埃德蒙頓，在商場購物時，其中的一個小姑娘碰到聖誕老人，於是許願能得到很多錢，這樣她就可以買自己想要的東西，於是神奇的事情隨之發生，兩個罪犯的錢竟鬼使神差地落到孩子們的手裏，在快樂地購物的同時，孩子們也幫警方抓住了兩個壞人。
