皮埃爾·德利涅

1944年10月3日，皮埃爾·德利涅於出生於比利時布魯塞爾埃特爾貝克（Etterbeek） ^[12]  。

1950年9月—1956年6月，就讀於布魯塞爾斯哈爾貝克（Schaerbeek）小學。

1956年9月—1962年6月，就讀於布魯塞爾雅典娜·阿道夫·馬克斯（Athénée Adolphe Max）中學。

1962年9月—1966年7月，就讀於布魯塞爾大學數學專業。

1965年9月—1966年5月，作為外籍生（Foreign Student），在巴黎高等師範學院（Ecole Normale Supérieure）學習。

皮埃爾·德利涅追求對算術代數幾何的基本對象（動機，L函數，志村簇（Shimura varieties））的本質理解，並將代數幾何的方法應用於三角和，線性微分等式及其單場，有限羣的表示和量子化變形。他的研究包括希爾伯特第21個問題（Hilbert’s 21st problem），霍奇理論（Hodge theory），模形式之間的關係，伽羅瓦表示（Galois representations）和L級數，模理論（theory of moduli），坦納基範疇（tannakian categories）和超平面的配置（configurations of hyperplanes） ^[1]  。
