從事分子和基因組的進化、植物功能基因組和生物信息學的研究。主要研究方向:
(1)植物抗病基因的結構、功能、起源、變異及保存
(2)DNA insertion/deletion對遺傳變異的影響
(3)基因組的非對稱性及其非對稱DNA的遺傳效應
(4)腫瘤基因組體細胞突變的分子遺傳機制 [1]
