她在銀屏的第一次露面是演唱插曲Anything But Love，她的第一部電影角色是在1995年的Village of the Damned中飾演Mara，一個冷酷無情的領導者。
霍恩還出演了榮獲艾美獎的迪士尼頻道原創電影， The Color of Friendship（2000）（這是根據真實故事改編的）從那時開始，她就成為了迪士尼的一個電影衝浪者。後來她在ABC Family中出演了由Britney Spears合編的 Brave New Girl。
