主要從事醫學類(研究生、八年制、七年制、五年制各專業和國際留學生)生物化學理論與生化實驗教學及人類重要病原生物高特異性分子診斷與相關疾病的治療研究。
主編全國高等醫學院校規劃教材1部,參編全國高等醫藥院校生物化學教材和參考書十餘部(其中英文版教材2部)。參與省級、校級教改課題4項,主持校級教改課題1項,獲校級教學質量優秀獎2次,校級教學成果獎1次。參與國家、省自然科學基金項目7項,申請國家實用新型專利2項,授權1項,發表教學、科研論文四十餘篇。
