《會展英語》的編寫源於深圳職業技術學院應用外國語學院2003年開發的“會展英語”，該課程2008年獲評“國家級精品課程”。按“主辦方”和“參展商”的工作流程結合起來進行編排。全書共分為八個單元，涵蓋了展覽和會議兩大部分。通過會展中兩個重要角色“主辦方”和“參展商”的日常工作，把會展的整體工作流程介紹給學生，並讓其掌握會展的基本詞彙，鍛鍊設計招展書、填寫表格和撰寫邀請函等能力。
