2017 獲國家自然科學獎 二等獎, “華夏地塊中生代花崗岩成因與地殼演化研究” (周新民,徐夕生,王汝成,舒良樹,於津海) [1] 

於津海研究內容

1.山西呂梁地區前寒武紀地質研究。確定呂梁羣為早元古代形成;發現其上部地層為裂谷環境形成的雙峯式火山岩;發現早元古代的A型流紋岩-花崗岩;明確發生於1.8Ga的變質作用為典型中壓相系變質產物,並對變質帶進行重新劃分。
2.新生代玄武岩中深源捕虜體和巨晶的研究。建立了雷州半島的古地温梯度;發現女山存在含石榴子石麻粒巖捕虜體,在地球化學和形成時代上也與華北地塊相似,而不同於華南地塊的麻粒巖捕虜體,據此將華北和華南地塊的深部界線劃定在南京以南,並呈東西走向;在雷州發現了由強烈演化的基性岩漿結晶的巨晶。確定了雷州地區上地幔的形成過程;
3.南嶺地區花崗岩成因與殼幔作用的關係;
4.華夏地塊前寒武紀地殼的形成,發現最古老的物質;確定了華南在Rodinia的位置;認識到華夏可能是由南嶺-雲開和武夷前寒武紀地塊組成;其中武夷地塊是古元古代克拉通的一個殘留,是Columbia超大陸的組成部分;
5. 華南地塊西南部前寒武紀地塊組成-限定揚子地塊與華夏地塊西延界線的位置;
6. 越南北部前寒武紀地質特徵與華南親緣關係;
7. 越南中部Kontum地塊前寒武紀-早古生代-晚古生代地質事件-印支地塊與Gondwana關係 [1]
