1998年的《Allez Ola Ola》中就收錄了15首代表參賽各國的足球歌曲。官方主題歌為《我踢球你介意嗎》和《生命之杯》。《生命之杯》之所以家喻户曉，其中與足球血脈相連的因素實在太多，從而把瑞奇·馬丁和拉丁音樂捧紅、熱情、旋律、韻律、甚至口號它都擁有。而瑞奇·馬丁健康的外形也符合了世界盃的精神，這些理由都讓它成為了第二個經典。使得這個波多黎各美男迅速竄紅。 ^[1]

尤索.恩多是世界樂壇最著名的世界音樂歌手之一，這位嗓音獨特的塞內加爾人生於1959年10月。美國著名樂評雜誌《滾石》是這樣評價他的：“如果有哪位來自第三世界的藝人在全球影響力上能和鮑伯.馬裏(Bob Marley)相提並論的話，那只有尤索.恩多。他的嗓音獨特，古老非洲的歷史似乎都凝結在他的聲線之中。

1968年生於比利時的海塞爾特，3歲起學習舞蹈並接觸音樂，從莫扎特到南部靈歌，她都有所涉獵。1983年用英語錄制了第一張單曲，因為英語最適合她想唱的這類歌曲。在Virgin唱片的支持下，她繼續女性靈歌風格的探索。1993年她的第一張專輯《Sans Plus Attendre》終於為她不僅在比利時，更在法語地區贏得了聲譽。1998年6月她同尤索.恩多在世界盃開幕式上向法蘭西體育場內8萬球迷和全球數億觀眾演唱了這首充滿歡快節奏和熱帶韻律的歌曲。 ^[3]
