德萊阿-德-瑪託個人經歷
在《絕望主婦》第五季中，因各位“主婦”片酬水漲船高，為了節約成本，劇組不得不砍掉一大重要角色，由妮可萊特·謝里丹(Nicolette Sheridan)飾演的放蕩主婦伊蒂-布里特(Edie Britt)以死離開了紫藤街。為了往《絕望主婦》裏添加新鮮元素，彌補伊蒂-布里特的空缺，劇組便邀請了意大利裔的德萊阿-德-瑪託入住紫藤街。
她在劇中扮演一位來自新入住紫藤街的意大利家庭的貴婦，這個意大利家庭中的丈夫則是一名設計師，而且還有一個19歲的男孩，這個曾有創傷的少年會同鄰居街坊中的一個女孩子擦出火花。
