一維、二維及三維超材料、超構電磁功能複合材料的製備及電磁性能調控，相關材料可應用於微波吸收塗層、電磁屏蔽、通訊等領域。近年來主要從事功能性納米複合纖維的製備，超構複合材料電磁性能的調控，微波頻率選擇表面的設計及仿真優化。

在Advanced Materials(影響因子17.493)、Advanced Functional Materials (影響因子11.805)、Carbon（影響因子6.196）、Journal of Materials Chemistry C（影響因子4.696）和Applied Physics Letters（影響因子3.302）等國際著名期刊上發表論文50餘篇。作為項目負責人承擔國家自然基金青年項目、中國博士後基金、山東省自然基金、山東省博士後創新項目等10餘項研究課題 。中國科協青年人才託舉工程人選。
