席振峯，1963年4月出生於河南省商丘市，有機化學家，中國科學院院士，北京大學博雅講席教授，北京大學化學與分子工程學院特聘教授、博士生導師。現任北京分子科學國家實驗室（籌）共同主任、中國科學院分子識別與功能重點實驗室學術委員會主任；曾任金屬有機化學國家重點實驗室學術委員會主任。

席振峯於1983年從廈門大學化學系畢業，之後進入河南化學研究所工作；1989年獲得鄭州大學配位化學碩士學位；1993年赴日本留學；1996年獲得日本分子科學研究所理學博士學位；1996年至1997年在日本北海道大學催化研究中心從事博士後研究工作；1997年至1998年擔任日本北海道大學催化研究中心Takahashi課題組助手；1998年擔任北京大學化學學院副教授；1999年擔任北京大學化學學院教授；2000年入選教育部“百千萬人才工程”第一、二層次人選；2001年被聘為教育部特聘教授；2002年至2006年擔任北京大學化學與分子工程學院院長；2004年獲得河南省傑出人才創新基金資助；2015年當選為中國科學院院士

1979年—1983年7月，就讀於廈門大學化學系物理化學專業本科，畢業並獲得學士學位。
1983年—1987年，擔任河南化學研究所金斗滿研究員課題組研究人員。
1987年—1989年6月，就讀於南京大學和河南化學研究所過渡金屬配位化學碩士研究生，畢業並獲得鄭州大學配位化學碩士學位。
1989年—1992年，擔任河南化學研究所金斗滿研究員課題組研究人員。
1993年—1996年10月，就讀於日本分子科學研究所Takahashi教授課題組金屬有機化學博士生，畢業並獲得理學博士學位。
1996年—1997年，擔任日本北海道大學催化研究中心Takahashi教授課題組博士後。
1997年—1998年，擔任日本北海道大學催化研究中心Takahashi教授課題組助手 （Assistant Professor）。
1998年4月，擔任北京大學化學學院副教授。
1999年7月，擔任北京大學化學學院教授。
2000年，入選教育部“百千萬人才工程”第一、二層次人選。
2001年10月，被聘為教育部特聘教授（北京大學有機化學）。
2002年4月—2006年5月，擔任北京大學化學與分子工程學院院長。

席振峯科研成就
- 科研綜述
席振峯率先提出並系統開展了雙金屬有機試劑化學研究，發現了雙金屬有機試劑的氧化反應、協同穩定化轉金屬反應、芳構化形成芳香金屬雜環等新反應類型和協同切斷不飽和化學鍵等新反應模式，揭示了雙金屬有機試劑獨特的反應機制並提出了雙金屬有機試劑的“協同效應”理念，建立了多種金屬有機雜環結構的高效合成方法。致力於實現温和條件下直接從氮氣合成含氮有機化合物研究

- 教育思想
席振峯認為：教書育人的責任比之科研創新，同樣任重道遠。他提出了“深新信”三條原則：深即深入，新即創新，信是客觀的可信度和主觀上的信心。一方面，由深入才能走向新和信。只有深入地進行研究和實驗，才能有新發現和實驗上的可信度，同時也能給自己增添信心。另一方面，從信心推出創新和深度，沒有信心難以創新，更很難有深度。信心是對自己對老師的信心，如果沒有信心，則十有八九做不成
