現已發表國際國內學術期刊論文27篇，第一作者論文國際SCI引用近400次（至2013年11月）。

2021年8月消息，中國科學技術大學合肥微尺度物質科學國家研究中心陳暘、趙東鋒團隊與地球和空間科學學院王寶善、姚華建團隊合作，成功研製出的這款分佈式光纖地震傳感設備，具有自主知識產權，且可以使用現有通訊光纜進行地震監測、地質災害預測、地下結構成像、城市地下空間探測等。 ^[4]
