奇塔·里維拉
1964年，里維拉在音樂劇《Bajour》中飾演Anyanka，該劇於1964年11月23日上演，一直持續到1965年6月12日。《West Side Story》的聯合編舞彼得·詹納羅(Peter Gennaro)負責音樂劇的舞台編排。

六十年代初，在百老匯原創作品《Bye Bye Birdie》中飾演Rosie。1984年，憑藉音樂劇《The Rink》獲得託尼獎最佳音樂劇女主角，1993年憑藉音樂劇《Kiss of the Spider Woman--The Musical》再次獲得該獎項。另外Chita Rivera還曾6次提名託尼獎，成為託尼獎歷史上獲得提名第二多的女演員
