運用分子生物學、生物化學、和結構生物學的理論與技術開發新型發酵產品，具體研究內容包括：酶編碼基因的定位、基因工程高效表達系統的構建、酶製劑的蛋白質工程改造、以及基因水平的代謝工程菌種改造。 ^[2]
