吳虹,博士,女,漢族,1957年3月出生於北京。美國加州大學洛杉磯分校分子和醫學藥理學系教授。美國加州大學洛杉磯分校分子遺傳技術中心主任。JCCC癌症幹細胞研究項目聯合副主任。JCCC泌尿生殖系統腫瘤項目成員,信號轉導研究及治療項目成員,加州大學洛杉磯分校腦研究所成員。
在北大醫學院取得學士學位後,留學美國。在哈佛大學取得生物化學博士學位麻省理工學院白頭研究所博士後。其在UCLA的實驗室主要進行腫瘤細胞信號轉導及分子機制研究。
2013年9月3日,正式接替饒毅,擔任新一任北京大學生命科學學院院長。

吳虹學術研究

主要研究方向為腫瘤細胞信號轉導及分子機制研究,曾以第一作者和通訊作者在Nature、Cell、Blood和PNAS等頂級學術期刊發表多篇有重要影響力的論文。 2011年被選為美國科學促進協會院士。

9月3日上午,生命科學學院在金光生命科學大樓鄧祐才報告廳召開全院教職工大會,宣佈北京大學關於學院新一屆行政領導班子的任命決定。王恩哥校長攜組織部部長郭海等一行出席會議,翟中和院士、朱作言院士、趙進東院士、朱玉賢院士等生命科學學院教職工約70人蔘加了會議。會議由學院黨委書記柴真主持。
北京大學組織部郭海部長代表北京大學宣讀了關於生命科學學院新一屆行政領導班子的任命決定:院長吳虹,副院長柴真(兼)、王世強、李沉簡、郭紅衞;原班子成員自然免職。郭海部長還介紹了學院新一屆行政領導班子的產生過程,並對新班子寄予厚望,相信他們一定會帶領生命科學學院做出更好的成績。
前任院長饒毅代表上一屆領導班子感謝全院教職工在過去的六年裏所給予的工作支持。他表示,生命科學聯合中心將一如既往地支持學院發展,自己也將作為普通教授的一員繼續為學院貢獻力量。
新任院長吳虹代表新一屆行政班子向出席會議的校領導和學院教職工介紹了班子成員的職責分工,並闡述了在本科生和研究生教學、科學研究和公共平台建設、學生工作、行政管理、校友聯絡等各方面工作的設想,以及具體的可行措施。吳虹院長認為,在未來五年的發展中,生命科學學院最重要的任務是明確定位和目標,理性認識學院面臨的機遇與挑戰,並紮紮實實地開展實際工作。學院的未來掌握在每一位教職工自己的手裏,必須依靠學院全體同仁的共同努力去創造;作為新一屆領導班子,要帶領大家積極迎對挑戰,把握機遇,主動出擊,為學院在全國乃至世界生命科學領域前沿贏得一席之地。
王恩哥校長髮表總結講話。他首先充分肯定了饒毅教授率領的上一屆行政班子所取得的成績,高度評價並感謝他們為此所付出的努力;同時,他代表北京大學對學院新一屆行政領導班子的履任表示熱烈祝賀,並對吳虹院長闡述的學院發展理念表示贊同,號召學院全體教工支持新班子的工作。王恩哥校長認為,生命科學在今天的發展已經愈加體現出學科交叉的趨向,圍繞生命科學和生命科學學院,相繼成立了一批研究所和中心,形成了一個相互支撐的體系;學校將繼續提供全力支持,努力發展具有北京大學特色的生命科學。
會後,學院新一屆領導班子召開第一次黨政聯席會,就新學期的工作進行了討論和安排。務實是這一屆領導班子的一大特點,相信在生命科學學院積澱的優良傳統和鋪墊的堅實基礎上,新一屆班子一定會帶領學院取得新的成績!
