卿海若

1982年畢業於成都地質學院(現成都理工大學)，獲學士學位；

1986年畢業於加拿大麥吉爾大學(McGill University)，獲碩士學位；

1991年畢業於麥吉爾大學，獲博士學位。 ^[2] 

1984年至1991年，麥吉爾大學Research Assistant；

1991年至1992年，渥太華大學(University of Ottawa)博士後；

1993年至1995年，加拿大地質調查局(GSC-Calgary)Research Fellow；

1995年至1998年，倫敦大學皇家霍洛威學院(Royal Holloway,University of London)講師；

1999年至2001年，里賈納大學助理教授；

2001年至2005年，里賈納大學副教授；
