菌落在查氏瓊脂上生長較侷限,25℃培養12天,菌落在麥芽汁瓊脂上生長較快,25℃培養12天,直徑 30-50mm,平坦,或中部較厚,具少量輻射狀皺紋或無;有的菌株分生孢子結構較少,質地呈絮狀,微黃白色,有的菌株分生孢子結構較多,質地呈絲絨狀到絮狀,白色;無滲出液,無氣味;菌落反面淡黃到淺黃褐色。

廣泛分佈於自然界中。
用 途:
在印度尼西亞,中國,日本,米根黴被用來發酵生產食品和酒精飲料,該菌屬幹生性菌,能引起含水量低的糧食發熱黴變,陳糧易染病。乳糖酶生產菌種。
形 態:
分生孢子頭大小不一,直徑100~250um。初球形,後裂為幾個疏鬆的短柱。分生孢子梗長短不一,頂囊球形或近球形,小梗雙層,在頂囊全部着生。分生孢子球形至近球形,光滑,大小2.5—3,5um。菌落特徵:呈絨狀,初為白色,老後為淡黃色,背面無色或淺黃色。
培 養:
葡萄糖,瓊脂培養基,温度30℃,最適生長温度28℃,相對濕度72%~75%。
