主要從事微分方程與控制論研究工作，先後主持國家自然基金項目3 項、教育部科技重點項目1項、省基金項目3項。在英國皇家物理學會出版社、新加坡世界科學出版社和德國德古意特出版社合作署名出版專著4部，在歷史悠久的國際著名數學期刊Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Section A: Mathematics, Bulletin des Sciences Mathématiques, Comptes Rendus Mathématique, IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics, Monatshefte fur Mathematik以及國際重要控制期刊 International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, Systems Control Letters, European Journal of Control發表論文多篇。
